Darling Alfie thank you for our feathers today, just when Daddy & I needed them you sent them. I'm glad you were with us at the hospital to see your baby brother give us the royal wave! Seems so strange, kinda groundhog day! We love you so very much keep close sweetheart xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I thought about you all yesterday and hoped you all stayed strong. I can't imagine the feelings you have and the pain it must bring but please know that you are all in my thoughts. You have the most beautiful little angel on your shoulder to watch over you. Alfie must be so proud to have a family as special as you are.

Life sure is illogical, my little man. I promised you whilst I held you in my arms that I would look after Mummy. But Mummy, as you know, only wants Mummy to look after Mummy. She sure is one difficult Mummy at times! Says the same about me also, I suspect! But Mummy should realise by now that my love for her is as pure as my love for you. I know that she loves me, little man, I just wish that sometimes she would tell me that she really needs me as much as she needed you.
Being independent is great, being too independent pushes loved ones away. And that was so very nearly true today...
Until Mummy found out that she carries your brother or sister. We have been given a second opportunity, not only at having our own child, but also a second opportunity at our marriage. Tonight, little man, even through all the anxiety that surely awaits us, I am so happy. For tonight, is the beginning of Mummy truly needing me again.
